Christopher has led more than 150 custom tours throughout the western United States, since he began his guiding career during the summer of 2013. As his guide career would unfold, he was privileged to be the guide through Yellowstone NP (during the winter of 2023) for Christopher Johns, former editor-in-chief for National Geographic magazine, who spearheaded the May 2016 Yellowstone commemorative issue, a full two-year endeavor. A must read if you haven't! The 'Crossroads of the West' and Yellowstone come to life as he allows each guest to enjoy a kaleidoscope of history, culture and local lore.

While still in high school (in Kansas City where he grew up), Christopher enjoyed the distinct opportunity to be awarded a photography scholarship to the K.C.A.I. summertime photography course focusing on Ansel Adams. Black and white photography remain his favorite genre to capture. As photographer and guide the thrill of capturing the moment when people connect to a place is paramount. When the anticipation, imagination and vision first behold the actual vista, it's like watching a young child experience a snowfall for the first time. There aren't words only enthusiasm and expression.

As the 2002 Winter Games came to life in SLC, Christopher began his career in the travel and tourism industry as a driver/guide for All Resort Express, where he quickly earned the respect of several VIP guests including Kristi Yamaguchi, Paul Mitchell, an even the band Styx. Each winter season he enjoys meeting first-time visitors coming to experience 'the greatest snow on earth', the ski slopes near Salt Lake City. And 'has successfully completed over 400 transfers annually. 2023 marks his 22nd season making the 70 mile round trip 3-6 times daily.

When Christopher is not on the road taking care of His guests, he dotes over his wife and family. Often he is either behind a Sony camera (A7R Mark V) capturing BIF (Birds In Flight) or a new found vista here in the west. All while anticipating and planning his next adventure.

These unique opportunities have provided Christopher the background and scope necessary to create a truly specialized customer experience. He is former President of the Utah Tour Guide Association. And in 2021 created Discover Life Elevated LLC, livery service to better serve and fulfill his dream of delivering the most remarkable customer experience possible. He continues the journey with folks under this banner.
